MelodyCanvas is an immersive music technology platform that brings together virtual reality, artificial intelligence, interactive sound, and multi-user collaboration to explore new ways of experiencing and creating music.

Originally developed as a virtual gallery for visual art, MelodyCanvas has evolved into a shared virtual environment for musical interaction. Up to four participants can enter the same virtual music hall through VR, see and interact with one another, and use virtual instruments and everyday objects as playable sound interfaces. Different objects can generate distinct musical responses, allowing participants to experiment, improvise, and make music together within the same immersive space.

By combining virtual instruments, shared VR spaces, AI-assisted musical experiences, and real-time interaction, MelodyCanvas explores how technology can transform music from something we simply listen to into something we can enter, shape, and create together.
